"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." - Hebrews 4:16

For the first time since Sunday evening, we were able to say our family night time prayer as a family! Shane has been moved from ICU and is doing very well. The girls were able to see their daddy briefly tonight and Shane was thrilled to see them. Yet another example of how incredible our God is. We are so thankful!

However, Shane has been running a low grade fever on and off today and antibiotics were started. Because of this, the doctors are insistent on a strong "no visitor" policy. They are concerned about his suppressed immune system and want to take every precation possible. Please continue to pray for energy and strength to fight any infection.

Thank you so much for all the messages. Shane is now able to read them (and remember them). We can never express how special it is to know that people all over are lifting us up in prayer. We will contine to post twice a day; with a morning and evening blog. We will also let you know when the "no visitor" policy has been lifted (middle of next week is what we are being told). We have so much to be thankful for and we thank God every day for all of you!

We are so glad to hear that you are out of ICU and doing better. I am sure that just the sight of your girls lifted your immune system! We love you all so much and are praying for you constantly. It is amazing to watch you all handle each and every situation with such grace and peace. It is such an inspiration to all the lives you have touched. We are checking the website everyday to make sure you are continuing to do well. Just know that Olive Branch, MS is praying and thinking of you.

With Love,

Be assured that we are keeping you in our prayers. Please let us know of any changes. I will be especially praying for healing, and that the antibiotics will soon take care of any infections.

Love you!

Dear Shane and Pokey,
We are so thankful for how our Father is taking care of you! I'm sure He can't catch a break with all the prayers that are going up for you. We will continue to pray that He will lay His healing hand on you. Hyde and Hannah are praying as well. Hyde says "Brother Shane is just the best prayer ever!" She asks me daily how you are doing. We are praying God will give you everything you need too, Pokey. Your family has become so special to us in the short time we've known you!
All our love & prayers,
Jay, Michelle, Hyde,& Hannah Hopson

I am so happy that you are doing so well. Even though I can hardly wait for you to return to the UMH, please take things one day at a time and take time to heal completely. We want you back at 100%. I know that this is the least of your worries now but, your new set is nearing completion. The platform has been built (thanks to Cliff Norman) and the banner has been ordered. It is beautiful.

We miss you at the office. I especially look forward to your return and mojo chicken salads (if your doctor allows it).

I'll continue to pray for you and your family. See you soon.

Much love,

Kim

---On that note, we changed Shane's outgoing message at The Hour to the following: enjoy---

"Shane can't come to the phone right now. He's in the clinic getting cured off the 'Wild Turkey'. And they're replacing the metal plate in his head with a plastic one, because every time Kim revved up the microwave, he'd wet his pants and forget who he was for half an hour."

Get well soon.
We miss your laughter around here.

Hi Stanfords! So glad to know how well you are doing. Just keep up the walking and the dreaded
"breathing". Know that we are praying for your healing and recovery. Praying for you, too, Pokey - take care of yourself. With our love. David and Nadine
