He is the Senior Pastor of Gulf Breeze UMC in Gulf Breeze, Florida, a congregation with an average worship attendance of over 2,400. He is the author of nine books, including the bestselling "The CURE for the Chronic Life" (co-authored with Deanna Favre). Shane is married to Dr. Pokey Stanford and they are the parents of three daughters, ages 14, 11, and 6.
