12:00, 4-10

Shane is doing just as we all have prayed and already exceeding expectations with his recovery. He is breathing deeply, sitting in a chair, and talking (albeit through the morphine...if I had video I could really make you laugh=-)). Please continue to praise God for his mighty works in this servant. Updates will continue until he is on to his full recovery. We feel certain that he will remain in ICU for another day. He smiles when I read him your comments. We love you all!

Shane,

I know that it has been a long time but I wanted to send you my GET WELL blessings! I hope you know that I think of you guys from Asbury UMC very often and will never forget the impact that you had on my life! I hope and pray that you continue your recovery and that you are back to your normal self soon!

I know that life throws us curves at times but it is in those times that we rely not on what we know but WHO we know!

Blessings,
Joey Perot

Hi Shane and Pokey too,

You know, we could leave a camera outside his hospital door...very easy to do...we have access to such things.

We are all so relieved and thankful that God has answered our many prayers. Of course, we continue to pray that you'll be back to your normal crazy life soon! Things are definitely quiet around the Hour without you. We are eating lots of leftover Easter candy to deal with the stress, so don't worry about us...

Well, I talked to Mike.

We're loading up the equipment just as soon as it stops raining. And we're heading to tape in the hospital. Just throw your black sportcoat over the gown, and we'll slap a little make-up on to cover up the suntan you're getting from the flourescent bulbs. And a little dapper-dan in the hair.

Glad you're doing so well. We've been praying for you. Take your time - but hurry up every chance you get.

Grace and Peace.
Joanna

Howdy, Shane:

How I want to see you. My pastoral heart goes out to you, yet I know you are surrounded by so much love and friends -- not to mention your children and lovely wife. We have added you to our prayer list at Maybank Baptist Church. May God Bless you. You are an inspiration to me.
